I have been a coffee drinker as long as I can remember. I remember being a kid and seeing my mum drink it I just had to be like the adults. I would sneak a cup here and there and I loved it. This has proven to be a positive thing in my life.
I did not know there was a way to improve on fresh coffee until a room-mate came home with the Breville Barista Express. It has been fun and resulted in some great tasting coffee!

The Breville Barista Express comes with an 8oz bean holder and built on single well water tank. The water tank has its own water filtration system to make sure you are using all the best ingredients possible in the cleanest water imaginable.
With the addition of a built in grinder and all sorts of settings the Barista Express gives you a ton of options to choose from. You can quickly find one you will absolutely love.
Working this machine is easy no matter how electronically friendly, or unfriendly, you are. You can use the machine as a manual pot, as you would a normally coffee maker, or you can program it to your favorite settings. This comes in handy when you find the exact way you like to have your coffee.
It does still require you to clean filters and put the filters into the group head, but the rest will work for itself. The tamper is attached magnetically and can be used while attached to machine or you can use it on the counter depending on preference.
Also depending on your preference, as the push of a button you can choose a double or single shot. The grind size is controlled with a simple turn dial, and the machine even has a red light on it that will turn on when you need to clean it. It cannot get much simpler than that!
Warranty:
The Breville Barista Express comes with a one year limited warranty. One of the nicest thing about this warranty is that Breville themselves handle all warranty issues and calls. Not having warranty claims outsourced is a huge benefit.
What I like about the Breville Barista Express:
I could rant and rave about the way the design looks all day. It may be the center piece of my Mom’s kitchen! Now she has that professional look from all angles and no more cheap plastic coffee maker.
I love the simplicity of this machine. Start out of the box we were able to start using it. Even though my mother and I are not instruction readers we were able to make a great latte in minutes! As I stated sometimes we play with it and try new settings but I was impressed out the box.
The cleaning is so simple. The sealed bean holder makes life easy it keeps my beans fresh and provides me with enough beans for a couple weeks of morning coffee. I also love how everything is labeled and easy to read. From start to clean up the Breville Barista Express is extremely user friendly.
What I dislike about Breville Barista Express:
Although I cannot say enough about this machine I will have to admit the price is a little high.
However, you do get a great product for the price. Some consumers have even said this is the best product under $1500 you can get. If you are a coffee drinker and will get usage of this product for years on end in the long run this machine is going to save you money by avoiding the average coffee shop around the corner.
Conclusion:
The Breville Barista Express is the model all other machines hold their standards up against. It is a superior product and backed by a great company. You cannot go wrong with this excellent espresso machine.
